This collection documents your baby’s first year of life. Shoots included are maternity, newborn, sitter session, 1st birthday & a family session. All sessions come with 10 digital images. I do offer payment plans w/ $150 retainer taken out of the total.
FAQ
How do you photograph Newborns?
I’m focused more on the creativity of the set & the details of your newborn. My newborn shoots usually lasts around 2hrs. I feel like 4 hours is overwhelming to be in the clients home or in a studio right after having a baby. I ONLY shoot WEEKDAY MORNINGS. Each baby is different, so the posing can differ. I may rock, or sway with your baby, rub his eyebrows, use a white noise machine, etc. I want to make sure the energy in the room is always relaxed and calm, with lots of trust. They will occasionally cry- please know that this is never a bother for me. I will use a variety of soothing techniques to make your baby feel safe, secure and warm. Think of me as your baby sitter. Baby will never be placed in an unsafe position and newborn safety is my top priority.
I have a very hands on approach to newborns and I am very comfortable handling them. I have two daughters myself and have taken safety courses on newborn photography/workshops. I will never, ever put your little one at risk.
If you have any ideas for photos that you have seen online and would like to recreate them, please tell me! Some of my favorite photos have come from concepts created with clients visions. Our photos will tell your newborn story. Your family story. I hope when you and your family members visit these photo over the years you will be able to feel how tiny and soft your newborn was. I hope they will bring you lots of love and joy.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm NE Oklahoma based, my studio is located in Coweta and yes, I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I know the importance of a stress free experience.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your PROOF photos within maximum 7 days (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can favorite all the photos from the gallery you'd like included in your purchased collection. After we have been notified you completed selecting your images our TAT is 1-2 weeks from said date.
